The INtelligent Sustainable HABITATs masters course (INHABITAT) project aims to develop an advanced interactive certified MSc course related to applications that will train individuals with the necessary skills & knowledge to work in the rising “Smart Urban Sustainability” industry.

Development of an MSc program for IoT applications in the field of intelligent and sustainable urban habitats
The goal is to train professionals for the “Intelligent Sustainable Habitats” sector, focusing on:
- Green mobility
- Waste management
- Resource monitoring
- Renewable energy
Target Audience
- Students with a relevant technical bachelor’s degree (e.g. civil, electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering)
- Professionals with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Priority given to: Individuals from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including refugees, asylum seekers & migrants

- Partners from 10 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Spain
Project Output
- Interactive, certified MSc program (16+1 months)
- Focus on IoT applications for urban sustainability
- Language of instruction: English (plus local language classes during mobility periods)
- 3 mobility phases, including 1-month practical training (Maritime On-the-Job Experience)
- ECTS-compliant, with EU-wide recognition
- Additional micro-credentials for vocational training and upskilling
- Development of transversal skills such as entrepreneurship and initiative-taking
