The Master in "Smart Maritime & Surveying" of the SMARTSEA project is moving forward with its second term, which includes a mix of face-to-face (online) and lab classes. Students are now delving into the fascinating world of Blockchain and the benefits it can bring to Smart Maritime.

The Horizon 2020 project PRO-Heritage is currently seeking a project extension as the COVID-19 crisis has severely disrupted the project work.

First Day of (online) Classes

We opened our virtual classroom on 4th of October for the future Smart maritime & Surveying industry educators and professionals.
For the past few months teachers shared their vision, philosophies, teaching ideas and aims to design appealing lessons and create engaging learning opportunities.
Our teaching team, primarily composed of outstanding teachers, managers and researchers with various training background in maritime education, is fully enthusiastic to share and exchange their insights and know-hows.

On September 2nd 2021, Andreas Riel (ECQA) presented the CHAISE education/research project paper at the EuroSPI 2021 conference.
